The Minister of Environment H.E Mr. Nazem Khoury rewarded Banque Libano-Francaise (BLF), during the 1st National Green Award ceremony, for the launching of several green initiatives, particularly the "Earth Card", the first card in Lebanon made of eco-friendly material, which contributes to funding environmental projects in Lebanon under the supervision of UNDP-Lebanon.

The Bank Chairman and General Manager, H.E. Mr. Farid Raphaël received the award during a gala dinner organized by the Ministry, UNDP-Lebanon and Beyond Magazine, on January 23rd, 2013, at the Phoenicia Hotel.

Being a contributor to the Lebanese economy and the private sector, BLF believes it can play a major role in promoting a socially responsible green attitude by actively participating in shaping environmental policies, communicating the Bank "Green" vision, in addition to developing eco-friendly products and services.
