Injazat supports Abu Dhabi Men's College sustainability advocacy at 8th Engineering Excellence Forum

The Higher Colleges of Technology's Abu Dhabi Men's College (ADMC) has conducted its 8th Engineering Excellence Forum to advocate 'greener' approaches to development.

Held under the theme 'Carbon Capture and Storage: A Strategy to Reduce Global Emissions,' the forum familiarized participants with carbon capture storage (CCS) technology and discussed a more sustainable development roadmap for the UAE.

Injazat Data Systems, one of the forum's sponsors, said that theUAE would benefit from heightened environmental awareness. The company called for more corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives geared towards industry adoption of eco-friendly practices that protect the health and safety of communities. Injazat also commended Abu Dhabi Men's College young Emiratis for supporting clean technologies and emphasized the important roles UAE Nationals can play in achieving sustainable development.

"Progress should not be put before the welfare of society. Industry should be more proactive in identifying and adopting sustainable mechanisms and get Emiratis more involved in this movement. As a sustainability pioneer in the region, the UAE is working to adopt more strategies such as CCS to ensure a safer and healthier future for its people. Injazat will continue to lend a hand to initiatives such as this forum that champion the use of clean technologies in pursuing national development," said Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, Chief Executive Officer, Injazat Data Systems.
