Almajdouie Motors, dealer of Hyundai cars in the Eastern Province, launched a national blood donation campaign to implement the directives of Sheikh Ali Almajdouie, chairman of the group.

The blood donation campaign started last week at the company's headquarters in Dammam and aims at encouraging staff to donate blood.

The campaign will include all departments of Almajdouie Motors, and will be followed by similar campaigns for the rest group's affiliates.

The campaign was organized in cooperation with Dammam Blood Bank and Regional Laboratory.

It comes within the company's keen concern of its social corporate responsibility as well as to meet the emergency need of Thalassaemia patients and accident casualties for blood.

To ensure the success of this humanitarian campaign, Almajdouie Motor prepared its showroom with latest blood donation equipment and medical facilities to support the process. A highly skilled medial team was deployed to supervise the campaign around the clock.

Yousef Almajdouie, vice chairman of Almajdouie Group, said the blood donation campaign comes as part the firm's corporate social responsibility towards society.

Almajdouie added: "Our efforts in the blood donation campaign resulted in the provision of several blood units which were donated in coordination with the competent public health authorities to ensure that those units are in its rightful place."

The blood donation campaign is one of several key activities that Almajdouie plans to organize regularly in support of the national blood donation campaign.
