A leading name in the development of sustainable buildings, masterplanning, corporate strategies & policies is looking to appoint new member of staff into their UAE operations to support the Sustainability and Environment leader in delivering a wide-range of projects across the GCC.
Core functions of the role include coordinating and contributing to building and master plan sustainability assessments, based on a combination of internal and external tools & standards (e.g. Estidama, LEED, QSAS); Contributing to proposals/bids; Presenting to clients and interdisciplinary project teams; and producing project related correspondence and reports.
Whilst there is a wider support network the successful applicant will be working directly with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision
Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in sustainability or other related field (environmental science, mechanical engineering...etc) and be certified as a green building professional (Estidama, QSAS, LEED...). A track record of working on sustainability and environmental issues in a consulting environment in the Gulf is essential.Energy/microclimate modelling skills are a plus as are Arabic language skills.
The role will be based in Dubai but due to the regional mix of projects you must be happy to travel as part of the role. The company offers a great platform for long term development but in return requires that applicants are happy to commit to a minimum 2 year period to role.
