Job Description 

  • Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Perform monitoring of compliance with all relevant sustainability, safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the company, its projects, and operations
  • Ensure the allocation of HSE resources to Projects
  • Ensure maintaining and updating of consolidated statistical data of all HSE incidents
  • Manage corporate and internal sustainability initiatives and agenda and monitor performance
  • Ensure alignment with QF sustainability initiatives and goals
  • Coordinate with Design on LEED and other sustainability certification applications
  • Manage the pursuit of Corporate Excellence or any other identified certification in coordination with Quality & Excellence
  • Coordinate with Property Management and Facility Management to ensure the application of sustainable practices on the operations of the companies assets (e.g., energy consumption, waste management)
  • Provide input on the assessment of the environmental impact of the companies projects
  • Coordinate with CSR to develop external sustainability initiatives and events
  • Review and approve evaluations to the economic, technical and environmental merits of new sustainability technologies and oversee the implementation of new practices appropriately
  • Ensure training of the companies and project staff on sustainability & HSE policies and standards in coordination with Learning and Development
  • Manage research on sustainability and HSE and provide updates to existing policies, standards and procedures
  • Applications for the role will only be accepted from LEED accredited professionals with a strong preference for those with experience or an explicit understanding of LEED Neighbourhood.  Applicants must have a minimum of 10 yrs relevant sustainable design experience.  

  
Total monthly salary will be in the range QR. 45,000+ (including basic + housing + utilities). Other benefits include:
