Organisation Description

A leading bank in the region is looking to appoint a Head of Corporate Affairs to lead the development and delivery of global communications and marketing strategy.

Job Description

• Creation and implementation of a global integrated communications program 
• Develop and manage internal processes to ensure timely response to issues/opportunities 
• Provide regular and ongoing counsel to senior management throughout the organization on internal and external communications strategies and issues 
• Develop strategic marketing programs to grow the business lines and enhance market share 
• Implement all marketing, financial communication and advertising strategies, meetings and events from concept to delivery 
• Develop the bank’s CSR and Community Engagement strategy and endure there is no misalignment between business and social responsibility, strategies and functions 
• Pro-actively manage public relations and media outreach to increase the al khaliji brand. Ensure positive market commentary and proven increase in perceived brand equity across all relevant media channels 
• Plan quantitative and qualitative market research to develop and support the business strategy, identify new services, target markets and sub-segments. Use findings to mitigate risks associated with new product development and high profile marketing and communications campaigns 
• Advance all relevant forms of internal and external digital communications 
• Manage all internal and external resources (staff, vendors and suppliers), spend and related budgets in support of production and execution of all aspects of the remit 

Person Specification

Education: 
• Graduate, Masters preferred 


Experience 
• Substantial banking industry experience with exposure at senior management marketing level 

• GCC experience is a pre-requisite 
• Extensive experience in the different communication and marketing disciplines 
• Demonstrated ability to interact with multiple stakeholder groups and across various customs and cultures 
• Robust product knowledge across Wholesale, Business and Consumer segments 

Skills 
• Superior communication, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal and analytical skills, and be able to respond well under pressure. 

• Strategic mindset, result and action driven. Demonstrated attention to detail and deadlines and proven tactical/implementation expertise. 
• Must be creative, persuasive, diplomatic and culturally sensitive in presenting ideas and managing their implementation. 
• Fully proficient in English and Arabic
