Position Objective

  • To define project scope, goals and deliverables that support CSR goals in collaboration with Board Members, CSR Manager and stakeholders.
  • To oversee quality control throughout the different stages by planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to the agreed strategies, deadlines and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and concerned stakeholders to deliver projects according to plan.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Assists the CSR Manager to set and guide strategies for all CSR activities to align consistently with the Foundation and PwC Global objectives.
  2. Liaises with the CSR Manager to oversee the project plan, deliverables, dependencies, and outcomes for project(s) as approved by the Board of Directors and key stakeholders, ensuring that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe and guidelines.
  3. Sets new projects’ action plans based on objectives communicated by the CSR Manager, and identifies needed resources and logistics  in order to assess the feasibility of projects to consistently align with the overall set strategy
  4. Develops and manages Volunteering Programs to achieve high levels of employee participation .This involves defining roles and responsibilities ( JDs), recruiting, training, monitoring the volunteers assigned to projects to clearly identify purpose and background for the project.
  5. Coaches, mentors, and supervises project team members and stakeholders; and influence them to proactively take accountability for their assigned work.
  6. Provides project updates on activities, deliverables and barriers (if any) by submitting semi-monthly project flash / status reports to the CSR Manager for review and discussion.
  7. Develops, organizes and coordinates fundraising activities
  8. Assists CR Communications Manager in developing communication plans to promote CSR initiatives internally and externally
  9. Liaises with other departments in order to enhance resources mobilization and integration within the corporate strategy
  10. Assists CSR Manager in developing and implementing internal policies, standards and procedures for consistency and continuous development  
  11. Coaches, supervises and undertakes performance evaluation for the CSR Coordinator

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • A Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Project Management certification (i.e. PMP) is an asset

Relevant  Experience :

  • At least 3 years of work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process improvement and operations implementation
  • Adequate experience in development and/or social projects
  • Previous experience in Volunteers Management

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training Required:              

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Effective staff management and leadership skills: Ability to project manage and coordinate efforts of diverse work teams and stakeholders to get required results
  • Result oriented and effective problem solver
  • Writing, editing and communications skills

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient user of MS Office Suite ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project )

Language Ability:

  • Excellent command of English and Arabic
