In July 2007, the Dolphin Gas Project became a reality, with the export of first gas through the subsea pipeline from Qatar to the UAE.
Since its inception, Dolphin Energy has committed itself to protecting its people, minimizing impacts to the environment, ensuring reliability and integrity of the facilities and the communities in which we operate.
One of the early strategic management decisions, taken within Dolphin Energy in 2002, was to rank QHSE excellence equally with other primary business objectives. This message has been well received by its shareholders.
As Dolphin Energy has evolved, it has further consolidated its business, financial, environmental and social performance - and developed an effective way of working with local businesses and communities to develop long term partnerships for sustainable regional development.
The website sections on Education, Arts, Environment, Culture and Dialog outline ongoing community outreach programs and practices adopted by Dolphin Energy. They demonstrate how the company is implementing its principles of social responsibility for employees, stakeholders and neighbors.
In many cases, the company’s community outreach programs are well established – others are still in development. However, all will continue to develop as Dolphin Energy strengthens its bonds and links with all its neighbors and partners: local, regional and global. Put simply, being a good neighbor is good business.
