Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) -Officer

Reporting to: Corporate communications & CSR Manager

Job Location: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a framework through which OOC can participate in the development of the local community in areas such education, healthcare, women development.
  • Develop, implement and review CSR themes, concepts, projects and guidelines and ensures it reaches targeted stakeholders and beneficiaries.
  • Actively engage and network with stakeholders (government agencies, ministries, local non-governmental organizations and OOC) to seek ideas and ensure a wider benefit and reach of CSR projects
  • Ensure optimum utilization of the allocated budget towards CSR and its transparent reporting to the management.
  • Engage with OOC employees to create a better awareness of the importance of corporate social responsibility and coordinate their voluntary contribution and support.
  • Create awareness among OOC employees and all stakeholders involved about their responsibility towards society.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with corporate affairs department with new ideas on branding and linking social responsibility with OOC name when required.
  • Stay as a focal point for corporate social responsibility and all its function as and when required.
  • Perform all other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Specifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree. Masters in Human Resource Development or equivalent degree in Social Sciences is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as a leader, facilitator and team member.
  • Should  be able to handle a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Status: Full time

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Experience:  About 2-5 years of experience in handling corporate social responsibility in a reputed organization.
