Professional Background
Lina Hourani currently serves as the Director of Al Ahli Holding Group CSR Division. Since her appointment in 2008, she managed to execute several youth development programs and initiatives. Among those initiatives and forums was the Global Business Opportunities program (GBO). Through the GBO program, Ms. Hourani has successfully marked a major milestone in Al Ahli Group’s efforts to identify business opportunities, develop the entrepreneurial skills for youth, and build their ability to own a global business; hence, shifting them from being job seekers to job providers. She managed to build outstanding partnerships at national and international levels. Ms. Hourani’s achievement encompassed translating Al Ahli Group’s vision into action by running the GBO across 4 different continents benefiting youth from UAE, Argentina, Jordan, South Africa, Brazil, Bahrain, and the UK. Prior to that, Ms. Hourani filled several positions focusing on youth development and training at some of the leading NGOs and institutes in Jordan. This included the Royal Health Awareness Society and several USAID youth development programs and organizations. She trained and inspired an army of students and private sector volunteers to voluntarily work on the development of other students, and contribute to their society. She also conducted trainings to more than 2000 senior professional and young leaders in Jordan, Egypt, Argentina, UAE and USA. She received a number of Awards in several occasions and conferences. Ms. Hourani holds a Masters degree in Public Relations and Communications from the University of Westminster in London, a BA in Political Science & French literature from the University of Jordan, and a Diploma in Neuro-linguistic programming from Canada. She has undergone extensive trainings including Leadership , TOT , mind mapping, creativity and is certified as an international trainer on the interpersonal skills segment.
