CSR Interest & Background

Working in the sustainability sector has been the be-all-and-end-all of my professional career. Presently working in Sustainable Business division of World Wide Fund for Nature – India, an international environment organization, I am currently engaged in working with global brands and retailers in the sector of commodities like cotton and sugar to establish an environmentally sustainable raw material production system. This job involves converting field experiences into knowledge products – establishing methods, model publications and events for dissemination (through the key partner); focusing on the use of technology that improve efficiency and sustainability; engaging private player like brands, retails, sugar mills and entailing sustainability through these stakeholders. My future career objective is to work on “Corporate Social Responsibility” and setting a benchmark to achieve sustainable and scalable outcomes which is beneficial to the society and environment.
