Professional Background

I am a graduate research assistant with a Master’s Degree in Microsystems Engineering specialized in the field of Photonics (study of the application of light) at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (in collaboration with MIT). Diverting my focus towards the application of nanotechnology has grounded my knowledge in the fundamental application of light in many fields such as, energy, environment and sustainability, to name a few. Since 2014, my main target was to design and optimize an optical sensor with the right parameters that would achieve the lowest detection limit and highest sensitivity level possible. This would render great significance in the fields of monitoring performances.
