A competent Electrical Building Services engineer and Sustainability /QHSE consultant with practical working knowledge of various aspects of Building services, Rail, Highways and Transport electrical, project management, sustainability and QHSE management.
CSR Interest & Background
With respect to sustainability management aspects of projects handled to date, tasks and abilities include: • Conduct GSAS/LEED assessments including chairing workshops, preparing progress reports and writing submission reports. • Produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) by undertaking site surveys, preparing energy models and producing and lodging the certificates. • Conduct energy efficiency audits for a wide range of clients and buildings, including identifying constructions, building services and opportunities for improvement. • Undertake district heating and renewable energy feasibility studies. • Conduct Air Conditioning Inspections and produce reports in line with the EPBD requirements. • Using spreadsheet models, and other software tools, carry out technical and financial feasibility modelling for a range of energy efficiency measures and low carbon energy technologies, including: district heating, CHP, photovoltaic (PV), renewable heating and other renewable and low carbon energy technologies. • Develop or adapt spreadsheet models as required to carry out this type of energy analysis. • Prepare concise but readable technical reports presenting the results of such modelling for issuing to clients. • Liaise with other internal experts, or external suppliers and experts, to inform such studies, as required. • Project manage small projects and studies and comply with and apply appropriate quality assurance systems.
