Nicola has more than 7 years professional experience in the non-profit sector, specializing in strategic planning and growth, lobbying, advocacy and fundraising. Since 2010, Nicola has grown START from running adhoc workshops for around 200 special needs children in Dubai, to a continuous, structured, award winning programme engaging over 2,500 orphaned, refugee and special needs children every week across 7 Middle East and South Asian countries . Nicola’s strategic drive, alongside strong communication to engage her board, and ultimately excellent execution skills resulted in the opening of new locations. Nicola also led the external effort to engage new donors, sponsors, partners and the public.
