Professional Background

My background includes project management and coordination with a focus on sustainable livelihoods, education, gender, food security and climate change, youth's capacity building in vocational and technical trainings, advocacy, women’s economic empowerment, democracy education, and human and child rights education. Further, I have a proven track record of successfully carrying out responsibility, preserving the integrity and committing to the vision and objectives of the organization. I currently work as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator at Potohar Organization for Development Advocacy (PODA) where I plan, develop, and strengthen the monitoring, evaluation, and sustainability of project results under projects funded by National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and US Embassy in Pakistan. My work with PODA also includes my previous roles as a Project Manager and Agriculture Expert, where I managed the implementation of projects related to gender, agriculture, food security and climate change, , economic empowerment, youth empowerment and peacebuilding funded by USAID. In addition to my work with PODA, I served as a Country Coordinator of the ‘Science for Youth’ program at National Academy of Young Scientists (NAYS), Pakistan for the promotion of science and technology at the grassroots level as volunteer. Moreover, I worked as a Research Fellow/Researcher with National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), Islamabad and CABI Central and West Asia-Pakistan to develop the best agricultural practices for integrated pest management. In these roles, I learned to work independently and as part of team, in addition to gaining expertise in project management, coordination and liaison, and research and development. My educational background includes a master’s degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Agri. Entomology, with a focus on integrated pest management and food security. I am confident that with my motivation and knowledge in this field, coupled with my background and experience, I will be an asset to your team.
