Professional Background
I am a Director with the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP, India. I lead the Supply Chain Compliance & Integrity (initiative within Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services India) – a product offering for conducting responsible business. I have more than 18 years of national and international experience across industries – retail, apparel & textile, automotive, manufacturing, energy, IT & ITES, health, agriculture, government and NGOs. I have worked on engagements in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, The UK, France and Singapore.
CSR Interest & Background
My broad range of skills include supply chain monitoring (social audits), ethical trade & business ethics, environment, health & safety (EHS) process reviews, corporate social responsibility (CSR), end use monitoring, social and environmental due diligence, social research studies and fact finding investigations. I have completed the SA 8000 Basic Lead Auditor course and am a certified FLA trainer on working hours and CSR. I have attended trainings on CSR & sustainability reporting, code of compliance monitoring, business transformation and fraud investigations. I have spoken at conferences on CSR, supply chain integrity and living wages and have written articles on ethical trade and CSR & sustainability which have been published in newspapers, newsletters and a book on climate change published by the Times Group.
