CSR Interest & Background
I have always has a strong and passionate interest for CSR and have worked with local Dubai based organizations both as an individual and set up initiatives within my corporation. I've worked with the Al Noor organization with mentally challenged children and have done extensive work with Dubai Cares on multiple projects, most notable working on setting up a school in the Al Quoz area for the children of expat labor workers. I developed a keen interest in sustainable energy projects during my MBA program at IE Business School in Madrid where I worked closely with the university on the creation of their Sustainable Energy forum. I was also chosen as their delegate to liaise with international universities on sessions with renewable energy companies such as Iberdrola. I also worked brielfy on fund-raising initiatives with the Land Art Generator Initiative which was developed under the sponsorship of MASDAR. While my predominant work experience has remained within other industries I am eager to put my skills to use within a sustainable or CSR position.
