Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy Junior Programme Officer April 2009 to March 2012 • Supporting the Program Manager through the entire life cycle of the Certification Process • Reviewing the documentation provided by the applicant Civil Society Organizations (CSO) • Keeping track of the knowledgebase provided by the CSOs concerning their operations and achievements • Conducting Field Evaluation visits to the CSOs for the evaluation of the compliance of certification parameters • Identifying the trouble areas in the administration and operations of the CSOs and communicating these to their respective representatives • Suggesting efficient processes for the implementation of the remedies to the CSOs, which would help the them in overcoming their shortfalls • Advising the Program Manager, on the eligibility of a CSO for certification • Writing Field Evaluation Reports of the CSO based on the parameters of, Internal Governance, Financial Management and Program Delivery for the final review of the Board of Directors • Maintaining a database of the CSOs, along with their documentation and the PCP internal Field Evaluation Reports for future certification references • Preparing and delivering presentations for the Certification Panel and committee meetings • Generation and dissemination of the quarterly PCP newsletter • As Editor of the PCP Quarterly Newsletter, my responsibilities included, but were not limited to: • Collecting and compiling the research work, reports and performance analysis of each PCP Program, which are: o Certification o Philanthropy Support Services o Research • Editing and reviewing the content and elaborating wherever required • Arranging the content in a chronological manner • Finalizing the Design and Artwork of the Newsletter • Printing and Dissemination of the Newsletter to all stakeholders and clients
