•Oversee the effective, efficient, and professional daily operation of the maintenance department for Galena Park ISD that includes fifteen elementary schools, four middle schools, one ninth grade campus, three high schools and various support facilities that serve a population of approximately twenty thousand students. •Manage a staff with multicultural backgrounds in the facility maintenance department. •Oversee state of the art direct digital building automation control system "York Facility Manager", Trane Summit, Metasys, and UES. •Negotiate contracts and oversee the installation and/or construction of new HVAC/Control systems. •Manage and coordinate construction completion issues with contractors, engineers, and architects. •Life cycle, building Operation, Maintenance and Repair cost. •Oversee $ 7,500,000.00 energy budget, Billing Audit, Building Audit, and energy procurement. •Developed and maintain the energy policy for the district by tracking energy efficiency measures, recording energy use, and properly documenting information for the EPA.
