Events & Program Manager Key Responsibilities • Plan and organize special events and related PR activities, while meeting budget goals. • Prepare special event action-plans, checklists, budget requirements and timetables. • Develop and implement action plans to develop new relations to raise funds from different organizations • Organizes and attends events such as conferences, seminars, receptions • Assists the Director of Operations in identifying areas of in-kind contributions and sponsorships to reduce expenses of activities and events. • Liaises with Events Directors at respective partner companies. • Maintain event quality through relevant surveys and continuous improvement. • Initiates and oversees media relations to promote INJAZ-UAE before and after events. Program Manager Key Responsibilities • Oversee and manage the programs implementation cycle. • Plan and set targets maximizing student impact and coverage of schools, universities and volunteers. • Build and maintain rapport with partner universities, schools and other academic institutions thereby renewing commitments from such educational partners. • Renew commitments from businesses and volunteers through continued follow-up and recognition. • Recruits, trains and matches corporate volunteers to implement program goals • Develops and implements volunteer orientation with corporate partners, i.e., developing orientation materials, scheduling, ordering Job Shadow Program material, distributing registration and evaluation forms. • Ensures program quality through regular engagement, calls, classroom quality, participant servicing and updating and analyzing evaluation instruments. • Develop yearly calendar for the designated region that includes timetables, procedures and responsibilities to be accomplished. • Maintain up-to-date database of volunteers and alumni. • Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of program implementation, contacts, success stories, etc. • Increase the number of universities and private companies participating. • Develop and implement methods of volunteer recognition, i.e., dinners and events. • Manage program officer(s) by effectively delegating tasks, oversight and follow-through. • Plan and organize Summer Internship Program.
