CSR Interest & Background
I worked for LBC Foundation and handled activities with them. LBC Foundation aims to give back to Filipino families and their communities with the help of more than 6,000 employees, its wide reach and the company’s resources. The Foundation is in charge of coming up with projects and tools for its people to exercise social responsibility through their 5 major advocacies: 1. Provide access to quality education & learning 2. Environmental Rehabilitation & Protection 3. Health & Safety 4. Community Development - this includes building of homes for those in need, livelihood generation, child & youth dev't. 5. Disaster Preparedness & Relief As a CSR coordinator i dealt with different agencies like WWf, World Vision, Habitat Humanity, Haribon Philippines, Philippine Red Cross and a lot more. We built various activities for our employees engaging them to corporate social responsibility. We expose them to helping others and giving back to the community.
