Professional Background
I am a professional Program Manager with extensive international experience in the field of sustainable development, and a thorough knowledge of the global sustainability and environmental issues especially in the MENA region. I have designed and managed development and CSR strategies and programs for international organizations and the private sector and led on high-profile outreach and engagement initiatives. My professional goal is to use my knowledge and expertise to address and enhance some of the world's greatest social and environmental challenges. I have a very diverse work experience of more than 15 years with international organizations, managing sustainable development programs. My previous experience with the World Conservation Union, at different duty stations (Montreal, Gland, and Amman) and with the UNDP Iraq in Jordan gave me the opportunity to work closely with different donor agencies and organizations, the public sector, NGOs and government agencies, on the design, implementation and monitoring of sustainable development strategies. I feel that my current employment with Saraya, a real estate development company in the tourism sector, based in Amman, and my active role in establishing and managing their corporate responsibility strategy would bring the technical skills necessary to get the job done.
