Bio: I am a Strategic Professional with strong Event Management experience substantiated in the design, implementation & delivering of Community Programs for major Sport Events I was part of several Major Sports Events such as the Arab Games 2011 in Qatar, Muscat Beach Games in 2010 in Oman with a main task to build a Community Relations Team, defining business processes and operating procedures and designing a communication strategy (targeting different social groups). Previously I worked with GCC Gulf Cup in Oman & with Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) with a main task to review the merchandising platforms and to provide assistance in the marketing research for the design and supply of generic merchandising mix and the merchandising drive. Back in 2006 I was part of the Sponsorship team for The 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar where I was in charge of the overall hospitality set-up and management of premium sponsors i.e. QNB, Samsung and Qatar Airways. CAREER HISTORY Workforce Manager For Qatar Sports Club Arab Games Doha-2011 Organizing Committee (AGOC) - QOC. Qatar November 2011- January 2012 • In charge of managing the Workforce Venue’s Operations • Workforce load: 100 • Reporting to : Workforce Support Manager / Games Command Center Volunteers Program Head Arab Games Doha-2011 Organizing Committee (AGOC)- QOC. Qatar February 2011- November 2011 • In charge of setting up the program management process and back up-operations. • Recruit, train and manage the team of coordinators in charge of promoting the program and additionally responsible for recruiting, short listing and selecting the people to support the event on a volunteer role. • Set up a small research team in charge of identifying the stakeholders and gather the relevant information on previous events and their volunteerism legacy to determine the program marketing approach • Liaise with the marketing team in order to establish the Volunteers Program branding guidelines (corporate identity, image & marketing strategy). • Follow up on the production of the program corporate material and branding tools (logo, stationary, website, promotional material, presentation tools) to introduce the program to the management team, stakeholders and finally to the community.
