Professional Background
My background consists of being an Operations Manager at a Business Risk Consultancy in Dubai for 4 years from 2008 - 2012. I then left dubai to travel through Africa and raise money for a charity organisation called Build Africa. The money we raised went towards buidling schools in Kenya and Uganda. I would like to find a career path in CSR especially in the Middle East, as it is still a new concept to this region and a lot of good work can be done here to help the region gain credits for it's socail awareness.
CSR Interest & Background
I would like to start a new career path in this specific role. I think there is a lot of opportunity in the Middle East to gain lots of experience in Corporate social responsibility as it is a fairly new concept to the region. There is a lot of good work that can be done. I want to be a part of that. I want to help big global organisations find there place in the world when it comes to being able to 'give back' and having a conscience. I want to be able to empower everyone to leave behind a footprint that does not exploit but finds balance.
