Worked as a Promotions Officer at Tesco, After completing my Masters in Social Work (Specialized in Human Resources) i am Currently working as the point person and lead for CSR in an NGO called Karnataka Health Promotion Trust in India, Bangalore.
CSR Interest & Background
Ever since i started working in the corporate sector, i have always found that "giving back to the society" was often missing and found the working very mechanical. After the CSR law has been passed, many companies are looking to give back to the society and fulfill their duties towards the people who have needs. Ever since, i have been inclined towards working at this sector because of the scope it has to do to make this world a better place to live in. Currently, i work in an NGO doing CSR and i have a clear idea from the perspective of an NGO, now i would want to explore opportunities to work with the perspective of the corporate.
