Professional Background
I have over 15 year’s professional experience in two global organisations which are completely different by nature and objectives. Having held direction roles at Accenture and Amnesty International has provided me with a strong capacity to define business strategies and organisational goals, manage teams and deliver according to schedules. In both organisations my work has been led by strategies which were driven by impact and collaboration. Among the goals achieved, I would highlight having built up a large team out of silo-based smaller units, defining the best way to streamline processes and procedures to align them to new requirements and funding available. I have also extensive experience in mapping stakeholders and their varying needs and interests, in planning, implementing and monitoring development programs. All development programs ended with a “lessons learnt” activity so that further strategies could be defined for future needs. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in challenging positions where I have learnt and grown. It is thanks to this experience and learning that I have great confidence in my capacity to lead and manage teams through journeys of change. It has been a privilege to work in large organisations not only for the nature of the activity they deliver but also because of the changes and alignment processes required to adapt business to ever-changing requirements. This too has been a source of learning and experience that I would use in the role of Corporate Social Responsibility Manager. As a director of a large multicultural team of people operating from different locations, I have led a significant number of projects from initial phases to final delivery, including preliminary feasibility and risk analysis, project adjustments following deviations from schedules and defining KPIs for final assessment. My direct reports have included both people working in my location and abroad, which has enabled me to develop strong remote management skills. Spanish being my mother tongue, I also speak English and French. I have a passion for languages, for how these can help achieve strategic objectives. In a world that is more and more global I firmly believe being local is what makes a difference, for both businesses and non-for-profit organisations, and that speaking to the people’s heart, using the right language, with the right format and content, is what ensures goals are achieved.
