PepsiCo supports Renee Wehbe Center for Sick Elderly

As part of PepsiCo's corporate social responsibility in undertaking humanitarian and communal issues at the heart of its policy, PepsiCo's team members in Lebanon dedicated an entire day to visit Renee Wehbe Center for the Sick Elderly in Mansourieh.

This visit comes in line with PepsiCo's aim to launch corporate social responsibility commitment to the elderly.

The day entailed sundry activities where each visitor teamed up with a resident of the center, spending quality time filled with entertaining conversations and nostalgic storytelling. At lunchtime, the grandmothers enjoyed recalling their cooking skills and their delicious recipes, leaving mouthwatering tastes lingering with everyone who had the chance to taste them. Before leaving the center, souvenir giveaways were distributed to all the members at the facility.

Mr. Sufian Al-Salman, Human Resources Director in East Mediterranean &Africa Business Unit, stated, "This visit is an integral part of PepsiCo's corporate vision to express appreciation and gratitude to elderly citizens in order to strengthen the relationship between the young and the elderly, consequently accomplishing solid community development in Lebanon. And as a mutual reward for our strong sentiments towards the elderly, PepsiCo had equipped the facility with LCD television sets, with the hope of reaching to all the community segments in need in the soon future. PepsiCo's initiative drives at drawing the private sector's attention to support the elderly community through joining hands and efforts to improve their living conditions."
