To briefly introduce myself, I am an ACCA Member and have worked for E&Y Pakistan for the last three years as an Audit Associate and Tax Senior Associate/Assistant Manager.

However, I am greatly interested in pursuing a career in sustainability services and for this reason have been looking for suitable opportunities in UAE, as in Pakistan the idea is very new and hardly any opportunities exist to learn, develop and practice in this particular area of financial reporting.

I came across E&Y's publication on possibility of tax savings resulting from low carbon strategies (The role of tax as a catalyst for change) during an advisory engagement I was working on and since then have actively sought to learn all I can about green audits, making businesses sustainable, sustainability strategies, GRI reporting criteria, managing a triple bottom line etc. And am very much interested in getting an opportunity to practice as a sustainability consultant.

For this reason and looking at your extensive experience in this field, I would greatly appreciate if you could kindly give me a few pointers as to how to go about looking for a suitable position in Dubai where I can learn and grow as a sustainability professional. I am aware that the Middle East is fast catching up with the idea of sustainable businesses and cleantech and a lot of opportunities are likely to exist.

Of course if there is an opportunity with the CCaSS team at E&Y Dubai for which my resume can be considered, I would absolutely be available for interview on short notice. I am well acquainted with the training, development, and growth opportunities offered at E&Y and therefore know that there can be no better place to start.
