- Mr. Abdelilah Chami is the Executive Director of a well established international CSR consulting company based in Morocco.
With more than 18 years of professional experience including 12 years in management of national and international CSR projects with different international partners ; Mr. Chami develops a very good knowledge of the working value chain and ensures a continuous coverage of the political, social & economic risk of the region.
He maintains a very good understanding of the Morocco politics & manages continued relationships with stakeholders. Prior to this work experience, Mr. Chami was actually the Director of external Affairs & CSR of Kosmos Energy an american oil and Gas company. He was also the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Senior Development Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Rabat.
Mr. Chami began his career in support of US Government programs in 2007, as regional representative of an Agribusiness development project in Morocco. Mr. Chami held also various management positions with Leading private sector companies. He was instrumental in the strategic planning and business growth and development in a variety of activities.
Mr. Chami is getting his PHD in business Management at IAE Nice. He also, studied in Harvard university school of Government the international development and is a graduate of Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion (ENCG),where he earned his MBA. He also studied English at AL AKHAWAYNE University in Ifrane Morocco. Mr. Chami also graduated from the Graduate School in Washington DC as a “PMP” Project Management Professional and got international certification on Project Management. He is also certified as International Specialist in Private Public partnerships From the Institute of Public Private partnerships in Washington DC.
His language skills include Arabic, French, English & Spanish.
Mr. Chami is fascinated by horses, and he is a member of The Royal Equestrian Club. He also rides and raises a number of high quality horses.
