Regional Sustainability Advisor / IFC

The Sustainable Business Advisory (SBA) business line builds on IFC's mission, strategy and environmental and social performance standards to promote sustainable business practices specifically among private sector firms in infrastructure, extractive industries, manufacturing, agribusiness, and services sectors. SBA programs encourage good corporate governance, introduce the deployment of clean energy resources, promote resource efficient technologies and business models, build the capacity of small firms, support women entrepreneurs, and promote management and investment decisions that are sustainable and inclusive.

The role of Regional Business Line Leader is to manage and drive the programs and projects across the region, overseeing key client engagement, strategy, budgets, staffing and delivery.  Responsibilities include:

- Developing the strategy and vision for the area
- Providing leadership and overseeing implementation of programs and projects
- Managing and developing staff, including resource allocation and recruitment
- Developing and managing complex business relationships (client and across the World Bank)

Regional Sustainability Advisor / IFC - MENA

   - Generalist, SME growth, entrepreneurship, agribusiness, water management

We are looking for someone with the following:

-          Technical expertise across one or more of the following – sustainability generalist, agribusiness, climate change, sustainable business models, biodiversity, SME growth, entrepreneurship, water management,

-          15 years plus experience

-          Strong people and project management experience

-          Able to set the vision/strategy for the region
