Western Motors supports breast cancer awareness by partnering with Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club's 2011 Pink Polo

To help the community raise awareness on breast cancer and early detection, Western Motors, a member of Al Fahim Group, has partnered once again with Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club (GRPC) by providing an attractive pink Fiat 500 Cabriolet to be driven around the United Arab Emirates (UAE) promoting the 2011 Pink Polo event and breast cancer awareness on the streets of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai.

Vice Chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club H.E Saeed Bin Houfan Al Mansoori, said: "HH Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is honored to host such an important event. The Club's main focus is the sport of polo, yet we know we have an important role to play in our community and we believe Pink Polo helps raise awareness of a social issue that has affected many women, both Emirati and expatriate, in our country," he said.

"Joining forces to spread the word will certainly help our community comprehend the importance of performing regular examinations and assisting coping families on learning how to support one another," stated Mr. Rashed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Managing Director of Al Fahim Group. "Al Fahim Group is a keen supporter of healthy lifestyles and personal wellbeing; we are delighted to have partnered with GRPC to support this cause."

Endorsing the university campus tour held by Ms. Carrie McNeill, Founder of Pink Polo, Western Motors arranged a pink-wrapped new Fiat 500 Cabriolet for the tour around the UAE. Promoting the Pink Polo event on 29 October 2011, the flashy pink color will also attract drivers, passengers and pedestrians, helping to generate more awareness across the UAE on breast cancer.

McNeill said: "Pink Polo is a platform that allows our partners to show support and take a standpoint for this community concern. Al Fahim Group and Western Mototors have done just this and our Pink Polo Fiat 500 has turned heads whereever we have gone. We are very grateful for their kind support."

"We regard corporate social responsibility as part of our ethical duty and a means of expressing gratitude to the community which aided in our success," said the newly appointed General Manager of Western Motors, Mr. Nabil Osman. "We persistently seek ways to help enhance societal initiatives for a healthier environment."

Earlier this month Western Motors displayed the funky pink Fiat at Radisson Blu Hotel in Yas Island and at Al Ain Rugby Club in Al Ain. On 29 October 2011 the displays were moved to GRPC and Al Ain Mall. The dealership has also shipped in the Fiat Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari and Fiat 500 by Gucci for the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain markets. Both versions were displayed at the Pink Polo at GRPC.
