In a bid to promote integration and further strengthen ties between expatriate and local communities, the Sharjah Centre for Cultural Communication (SCCC) in association with Eton Institute, the largest language institute in the UAE, will be offering highly subsidised Arabic language courses for the public. The language course, subsidised by over 50%, will encourage the public to learn Arabic while providing a deeper cultural understanding through a visit to a cultural site such as the famous Al Noor Mosque.

Sherifa Madgwick, Manager of Development and Communication, Sharjah Centre for Cultural Communications (SCCC), commented “We are very excited about helping people from different cultures starting their journey in learning Arabic.”

The subsidised Arabic course will allow attendees to begin interacting using the language in simple ways such as introducing themselves, greeting an Arabic speaker and talking about personal details such as name, address, family etc. Powered by Eton Institute and offered on-site at the Sharjah Centre for Cultural Communication, a non-profit government organisation, the complete 30-hour course will be offered for only AED 650, all inclusive of material, registration and a private mosque cultural visit at the end. 

The special beginner’s level Arabic language course will be conducted for the beginner’s level from 24 October – 14 December, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6pm-8pm at the Sharjah Centre for Cultural Communication.
