RasGas managing director Hamad Rashid al-Mohannadi said: “As part of our CSR Programme, RasGas is proud to support Qatar’s first National Sports Day by collaborating with the Aspire Zone Foundation.
“We are committed to support the State and we believe that we can make a substantial contribution to the health and well-being of our people. Sport and physical activity offers our people the opportunity to participate and put their energy to positive use.”
He explained that the company’s Year of Health CSR campaign was designed to proactively encourage the community to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle.
“Social responsibility is integral to our business and our proactive CSR programme is aligned to the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy 2011-16,” he added.
