Within its social responsibility program framework, Kuwait International Bank had launched "Save & Grow with KIB" campaign in collaboration with its strategic partner - Children & Youth Finance International Organization (CYFI) - starting from March 15th until March 21st of this year which coincides with the World child and youth finance Week of the organization.

The launch of this campaign came up during a program in which the bank had hosted the teachers and students of Hawalli Mid-School for girls at its headquarters. The program was attended by Mr. Loay Maqames -KIB's Chief Executive Officer-, Ms. Entisar Al-Suwaidi - General Manager for Retail Management- and Mr. Murad Mikhail -Assistant Executive Director of Investment Management.

On this occasion, Mr. Loay Maqames - Chief Executive Officer - commented: "The launch of this campaign highlights KIB's leading role in its corporate social responsibility as the bank aims, through this campaign, to implant the skills and values of savings for children. It also increase awareness for the youth and children regarding the value of money and provide them with practical knowledge to know how to manage their money and expenses at an early age.

From her end, Ms. Entisar Al-Suwaidi - General Manager for Retail Management- said: "the campaign's program will include a series of visits to various schools in addition to hosting students at the headquarters to present an age-appropriate simplified explanation around the perfect means to save money and shed lights on some real life examples of children & youth who due to their success in saving money have been able to run some small projects and manage their budgets".

Ms. Entisar Al-Suwaidi concluded by emphasizing the keenness of Kuwait International Bank to communicate with the youth and provide all the support to them as they represent the most important segment of the society and the future of Kuwait.
