Green Programme for Schools: A joint CSR initiative to raise eco consciousness among the youth

The Green Programme for Schools (GPS) is the environmental initiative of Msheireb Properties in association with Qatar Today magazine. This unique programme aims to Reach, Inspire and Reward students and schools in Qatar by meaningfully engaging and inculcating in them the importance of building a green equity. Since its launch on June 5, 2011, the GPS has been received phenomenally well by schools in Qatar with over 40 of them registering for the programme.

GPS has also been receiving great support from its partners which include the Supreme Education Council (SEC) who have been providing assistance in identifying the most appropriate and potential local and international schools. These are schools that have the potential to not only be part of the programme but also to enhance it, and SEC is facilitating registrations with them.
