The signing was attended by Mazen Batarjee, chairman of Al-Bir Society; Loay Nazer, chairman of Bupa Arabia; and Taymoor Ismail, chairman of Al-Salam Corporation and Samira Baeshin, deputy manager of the women’s supervisory office located in Jeddah.

Loay Nazer, founder of Bupa Arabia’s corporate social responsibility program, said: “It is our privilege to support the excellent work done by the Ministry of Social Affairs in caring for the orphans all around the Kingdom. After this agreement, I am pleased to say that we are making steady progress in our aim to cover all 3,000 children at orphanages registered under the ministry with free medical insurance. These children now receive the full benefits of the health insurance provided and are assured of getting the very best health care services whenever needed.”

Loay Nazer also thanked Taymoor Ismail, chairman of Al-Salam Corporation, a leader in home health care services, for the great effort and continuous support as a partner in Bupa Arabia’s CSR program.

Under the terms of the agreement with Al-Bir Society, the Saudi German Hospital is appointed as the main provider of medical services since for many years it has been the hospital of choice for Al-Bir Orphanage.

Commenting on this, Fehr Nazer, provider relations director at Bupa Arabia, said: “We are especially pleased at this appointment since the Saudi German Hospital is not only one of the best in Jeddah but also a leading partner in Bupa Arabia’s orphans program.”
