Blood Donation Camp by Employees of ETA MNE Division ABU DHABI on 2nd January 2013

ETA MNE Division, Abu Dhabi organised blood donation campaign in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Blood Bank, Headed by Dr. Mazozeh Mustafa, Abu Dhabi on 2nd January 2013, to raise awareness on the importance of supporting the community, and its humanitarian cause mission and noble act which contributes to saving the lives of many patients, especially those suffering from Thalassemia, cancer, hemorrhaging from traffic accidents and open-heart surgery and other conditions.  53 Employees from different Departments and Sites were part of this Blood Donation campaign and shown their responsibility towards the Society. 

 

Mr. Sivapal Sr. Executive- HR of ETA MNE Division, said, "The campaign is in line with the UAE strategy to serve the community and build on the important role played by the group in supporting the community at various levels through distinctive initiatives and blood donation is one of the CSR Initiative of the organization as a whole to serve for the community needs.  He thanked the donors for their humanitarian gesture that will help save the lives of many patients who are in desperate need of blood.  He also thanked the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank employees for their support and making the Division’s one of the resolutions a grand success in the beginning of the New Year 2013.

 

He also added that "The campaign attracted participation of employees as well as customers, as a result of efforts made by the HR Department (Welfare Unit) during the campaign to spread the culture of blood donation among the employees”.
