Batelco Bahrain HR General Manager Suhaila Alnowakhda, who is spearheading the event, said that Batelco was hosting the Batelco Cancer Day to honour these children and their families and to offer moral support in their journey while fighting the illness.
"We hope to put a smile on every child's face by organising a day filled with fun and laughter," said Mrs. Alnowakhda.
The Batelco Cancer Day, which will run from 10am to 4pm, will include a range of entertainment programmes such as live music, educational programmes and games, with gifts and prizes for the participants.
"Batelco's Corporate Social Responsibility programme provides support for a range of initiatives related to sports, education, culture and health. Each year Batelco contributes financially and in kind via its sponsorship and donations programme with the aim of making a difference in the lives of residents all over the Kingdom of Bahrain," concluded Mrs. Alnowakhda.
