Ibrahim Badawood, managing director of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives (ALJCI) has won the “Top Corporate Social Responsibility CEO” award instituted by CEO Middle East magazine.
Yousuf Jistiniah, Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ) director in Riyadh, received the award on behalf of Badawood during a ceremony held at Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh recently to recognize the top 16 CEOs.
The event, organized by CEO Middle East, was attended by an elite cadre of business and CSR sectors in the Kingdom and the region.
Badawood was nominated for the award in recognition of the excellent achievements made by ALJ Community Initiatives and its effective contribution in serving the community, as well as the important role played by Badawood in transforming ALJCI into a productive organization.
Badawood thanked the organizers of the award for selecting him from among the elite CEOs in different sectors. 
He attributed the success made by ALJCI to the team headed by Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel. He also emphasized the importance of community services as an essential sector in any company.
“The hard work of the ALJCI team has made a huge success out of its initiatives,” Badawood said while stressing ALJCI’s leadership role in community service in the Kingdom, Arab countries and the world through its effective community programs.
