NBK, the leading provider of financial services in Kuwait and the Middle East, recently released its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report concurrently with the release of the Bank’s 2010 annual financial report.
Depicting the latest 12-month episode of a decades-old tradition of community involvement and a long-standing legacy in social responsibility, the recently released CSR report sheds light on the Bank’s various philanthropic, social, educational as well as sports-related initiatives and contributions throughout the year 2010. The report provides a further testament of NBK’s multi-lateral leading role, which constitutes a pioneering example for the Kuwaiti private sector’s serious social involvement.
NBK Vice Chairman and Head of The Bank &Community Committee, Nasser Musaed Al Sayer said that the 2010 CSR report aims at documenting NBK’s initiatives and contributions in the field of corporate social responsibility, which has always been the acme of the Bank’s priorities.

“Being the veteran and premier financial organization in Kuwait and the Middle East, We, at the National Bank of Kuwait, take our role in the community very seriously and never lose sight of the fact that we constitute an integral part of the Kuwaiti society as well as its national history”, Al Sayer added.
“As a good corporate citizen, NBK’s community involvement is not limited to being a major promoter of economic and financial awareness in the country through the various reports and studies it regularly distributes in the local and regional media”, Al Sayer concluded.
