The campaign, within CTC's Corporate Social Responsibility program, effectively raised an impressive sum of $6,333 for Anta Akhi, a charitable Lebanese organization at the service of disabled children and their families.
CTC/Samsung launched its campaign throughout the month of December by means of a donation program on the Samsung Lebanon Facebook page by encouraging its fans to "Like" its page and upload their pictures onto the template frame provided, thereby donating $1 to Anta Akhi for every picture uploaded. The funds received will be dedicated to specific coherent and monitored projects to assist disabled children and accompany their families in facing the tough challenges they face in their daily lives.
Addressing both media partners and Anta Akhi representatives alike, Eddy Cherfan, CEO of Cherfane Tawil & Co, said, "Thank you for all joining us today to start the new year together by celebrating the support of our facebook fans who have made this campaign a successful one and helped recognize the value, dignity and respect for Lebanese children with disabilities!" He continues, "I would like to present this check worth $6,333 to Anta Akhi so that they can finance their righteous projects and help pave the way for a better quality life for the children and their families."
