- I am currently working as DGM of Manappuram foundation (CSR body of Manappuram finance limited). In charge of CSR projects with an average annual spent of 160 Million Indian Rupees. Previously worked as Consultant for CSIM and Social Audit Network (SAN – India) primarily involved as a ‘Corporate Responsibilities & Sustainability’ consultant measuring, analyzing and reporting the social, environmental and economic impact for Multi National Companies, Social enterprises & Not for Profits.
My professional experience and exposure is highlighted with consistent research & monitoring and evaluation of CRS programmes done by implementing agencies mostly using the social accounting and audit framework and also executing regular training/ workshops on CRS Management Development programmes in association with the India Institute of Corporate Affairs (Ministry of Corporate Affairs).

If we look at CSR now and few years down the line, the questions are going to be asked primarily on did it really create an impact on the ground?
The answer will come from Social Audit. Only when you evaluate the programmes on the ground and find out the lasting impact it has left will answer to the question whether CSR helped in furthering the developing agenda of the nation and that should actually be the primary focus of CSR.
