Omantel, the leading integrated communication services provider issued its annual "Sustainability Report" 2013 under the theme 'Your World, Your Oman'. The report reflects Omantel transparency and commitment towards different stakeholders and highlights the economic, social and environmental activities and efforts carried out by the Company during 2013.

The report, which is the issued for the second year to coincide with the Annual General Meeting of the Company, provides a comprehensive overview of the achievements made by Omantel over the past year.

Commenting on the launch of the Sustainability Report 2013 , Laila Mohammed al Wahaibiyah, Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Omantel said "The launch of the second sustainability report comes as we strive to embed sustainability in every part of our operations and follows the successful launch of the first report that was released mid of last year. We are proud at Omantel to be one of the leading companies that produce sustainability reports in the Country which reflects our transparency and commitment to all stakeholders".

"Building on the success of the first report, this year report is issued against the new GRI guidelines (GRI 4). Omantel Board and Management have a firm belief and commitment towards Sustainability as it paves the way for future success" Al Wahaibiyah added.

The Sustainability Report 2013 provides a comprehensive overview of the activities and events carried out by Omantel in 2013. The report has been divided into three parts namely 'Your world, Your Omantel", "Your world, Your society" and "Your World, Your Future". The report provides information about the company's organizational chart, ownership structure, legal status and performance during 2013" she concluded.
