Majid Al Futtaim Properties, a leading developer of ‎shopping malls together with hotels and ‎mixed-use community ‎projects in the MENA region, announced that it has successfully conducted a two-day breast awareness campaign for its employees, in partnership with Pink Caravan, an initiative by Friends of Cancer Patients Society. The campaign was organised in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness month.

More than 125 female staff from Majid Al Futtaim Properties and sister companies within Majid Al Futtaim Holding, were screened by professionals from the medical and awareness committee in the Pink Caravan and attended a series of educational workshops. 

The sessions included movies about some real life examples of breast cancer survivors and educated the audience on how to do self-examination. In addition, a Pink Caravan representative delivered an interactive presentation discussing the disease, its causes and risk factors.
