Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) was honoured with a certificate of appreciation by Dubai Autism Centre (DAC) for its continued support to the various campaigns rolled out by the Centre for promoting autism awareness in the region last 2011.

Saif Al Falasi, Executive Director - EHSQ & Corporate Affairs and Noaman Al Saleh, Acting Director of Brand & Corporate Communications of ENOC, received the memento and certificate of appreciation from Mohammad Al Emadi, Director General & Board Member of DAC.

ENOC led the concerted autism awareness campaign, 'Care by Giving,' during the Holy Month of Ramadan in 2011, with all awareness posters placed at all ENOC/EPPCO service stations, and staff members wearing special t-shirts provided by DAC. 

Saif Al Falasi said, "The support to the 'Care by Giving' campaign of Dubai Autism Centre complemented the charity programmes that ENOC undertakes during the Holy Month of Ramadan. We will continue to focus on supporting such worthy causes that will bring about a tangible improvement to the lives of people." 

Noaman Al Saleh said, "ENOC is committed to corporate social responsibility initiatives and supports the various campaigns that are conducted by Dubai-based organisations to make a difference to society. We also undertake special campaigns focused on various aspects that contribute to overall societal welfare. Dubai Autism Centre's 'Care by Giving' campaign helped to strengthen awareness of autism, especially in the wake of reports that one in 110 children has autism." 

Mohammad Al Emadi said, "We are thankful to ENOC for their support to the 'Care by Giving' campaign as well as other programmes that we launched to strengthen awareness of autism. It is extremely important to raise awareness of the condition, which in turn will support the children with autism, their parents and care-givers." 

The mission of DAC, a non-profit organization, is to successfully integrate children with autism into the community through a holistic approach to intervention and therapies; as well as create awareness about autism within professionals and the general public. 

ENOC undertakes regular CSR initiatives that are aimed at supporting underprivileged sections of the community.
