Enoc launches 3rd edition of Masiraty III training programme for nationals living on welfare

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has launched the third edition of Masiraty III, a training programme for nationals living on welfare, designed to strengthen their skills and increase their knowledge base, thus enabling them to become active participants in nation-building by pursuing rewarding careers.

The UAE Ministry of Social Affairs has nominated 15 participants to undergo the three-month training that aims to encourage them to become part of the business workforce.

The programme covers basic computer skills, English language, problem solving, team building, presentation skills and communication skills.

Mona Ajeef Al Zaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry of Social Affairs said: "One of the long-term goals of the Ministry of Social Affairs is to promote partnerships with likeminded organisations to further empower the Emiratis and provide them strong career opportunity that in turn contribute to the welfare of the society. ENOC's Masiraty III is laudable as it specifically supports people on welfare, and provides them modern workplace training. We congratulate ENOC for this noble initiative."

Noaman Al Saleh, Acting Director of Brand & Corporate Communications of ENOC said: "Masiraty III is a strong example of ENOC's commitment to our corporate social responsibility. We believe that it is our duty to help less fortunate individuals by providing them an opportunity to progress in their lives through adequate workplace training. This will enable them to take up rewarding careers, and contribute to their family and society, while also evolving personally and professionally."

ENOC's Learning & Development Department oversees the progress of each participant in the Masiraty III programme with the mentors and trainers evaluating them regularly. Upon completion of the course in April, all participants will be given a certificate at a graduation ceremony.

ENOC is a strong proponent of community development initiatives. Recently, the company launched the Tatweer initiative to encourage young nationals to undertake retail management career roles as well as advance in their career.
